[Big Pete] 07.29.03

It's not even Noon, and it's my second update of the day. So, if you are seeing this, be sure to read my last update, and Big Chris's last update, as they are full of essential vitamins and minerals to get your day going.

Anyways, my main man Bobby Shields was at the Gathering with me, and he had his video camera a'workin non-stop. But, like Scottie said over on FaygoLuvers today, most of the video was shaky as hell. I couldn't talk shit, because I couldn't do any better. But, like Big Scottie, he salvaged some goodies, and we are sharing them with you right now!

GOTJ 2003 Audio/Video Madness

Now, I haven't checked all of those out, but I do know if you get it working, that both JCW matches there are REAL sweet. J's bump after the "Magic Blunt" spot is incredible. I believe you need QuickTime to view those, so.. yeah. And not to mention the Mp3s of Blaze, Twizid, and ICP's sets. Not the entire sets, but enough to make you happy happy like Emeril. Anyways, that should be able to withstand a lot of people DLing from it. If it doesn't work, you probably overloaded his server.

That is all for Episode Two: Attack of the Updates from me for today. Once again, thanks to Bobby for hookin up those MP3s and Videos, and I am out.

While I hate updating over Chris, sometimes it has to be done. I have a few things to get to, so let us have at it.

First off, I have gotten a few updates about the funny Twiztid seminar situation. Well, thanks to word of mouth being wrong, that kid, in fact, did stick around for the weekend because people were relying on him for a ride, and needless to say, they would have been assed out. I have also been told that it didn't go down like reported. Well, I know what I heard, as do others.. so we shall just let it be.. until we get the video to host.

Ok, enough of that. Next up, you may have noticed the flurry of new stuff we have been adding. You can easily keep track of that stuff on your immediate right, where we name everything new we have put up in the pages of PT. Also of note, to your left you may notice we added the Gathering 2003 Auction section. I can't believe it took me so long to do that up, but there you go. It's not 100% done, but most of what you need, minus a few pictures, is there.

Speaking of pictures needed... we have a lot of the new merch from the Gathering up, but we still need your help, as there are a few things we still are looking for. Off the top of my head, we still need good pics (and info) for: the Wraith Die-cut Vinyl; the Black "Insane Clown Posse" Wraith shirt (and two BMX jerseys with that same script logo I believe); the White Juggalette shirt; the new Blue Juggalo shirt; and anything else that we don't have up. If you have pics of new hats and such that we don't have sections for, send those too, for we will use them in the future! Remember, everyone has a hand in helping PT run, and this is one of those times where you can make your mark.

I think that is it. I always feel like I have more to say, and I never do. I also feel like I always say that. Anyways... I am out.

[Brother Chris] 07.25.03

What is up Traders?! My first post GOTJ post, and I have so many thoughts going through my proverbial mellon. Where to begin....

The Campsite: The place which held the GOTJ had many, many doubters. But damnit, that place ended up being super sweet... I would love it if it was there again next year, but more on that later.

The Merch: SOOOOO gay... I mean the merch itself was cool... But it sold out so fast.. I mean seriously, printing some things in limited edition is cool... But even tour shirts? That was gay.. I mean, when I goto a show I will buy a tour shirt even if it's mad ugly (see: mirror mirror tour)... mainly because I'm buying the memory of that night's show... There should always be ample Tour/GOTJ shirts when these events take place... Very dissapointing. Not having any GOTJ posters was gay as well. The weekend was great, and I hate to have to say all this... But somebody fucked up. All I can hope is that the GOTJ shirts hit the webstore.

Wizard Of The Hood: Such a sweet CD... I've been listening to it nonstop.

The Book: I'm almost already done, such a good read.

Speculation/Rumors:

1) Next year's GOTJ... Now when I talked to Alex backstage, he was pretty doubtful they'd have the GOTJ at this place again, because having security/those people working food/etc 24 hours is quite expensive.. He said it might be shortened or if not the tickets next year might be $225... However, I heard from many reliable sources that PSY signed a 2 or 3 year contract with the campgrounds.. Which makes sense because pretty much nobody else will have them.. So we shall see... $225 will suck, but the GOTJ is so much fun, I'd pay it without a second thought.

2) Twiztid leaving? There was no real answer to this question.. Somebody asked twiztid about it, and all they said was "what if we did... would you guys care?" and the crowd yelled no. So who knows.

3) Madrox was talking to like 20 people late one night, and gave a classic quote: "I'm not in this game to shrink, I'm in it to blow the fuck up" ... I know it doesn't really answer any questions or even fit in the "Speculation/Rumors" Category, but god damn it was cool seeing him be honest like that. They should blow up!

That is it... All the PT'ers I met were mad cool, props to you all. Also, I really hate to do this, and I know I will hear it from Pete... But I spent 300 bucks on a backstage pass @ GOTJ 2003, and I really shouldn't have spent that money... So I'm having a big sale! Now, I'm not going to list the stuff here, but I have OG House Of Krazees TAPES, Backstage Passes from the past, and Jerseys! E-mail me HERE to get the list of stuff for trade... Don't wait too long, because they might hit eBay soon! Get them while you can!

[Big Pete] 07.21.03

It's Monday evening, and the Gathering 2003 has passed us by. A lot of stuff went on there, and I am sure you either experienced it or you have read it on dozens of other sites.I know RJ has a long one one up, and it looks like Scottie will be doing a big one on FaygoLuvers. So I'll spare you all of that for now, and just hit on a few select nuggets of information. Perhaps tomorrow I shall write out a larger "review."

There wasn't that much new merch, to be honest, and a lot of it sold out very quickly. The hottest items (aside from Wizard of the Hood and Behind the Paint) seemed to be 2 of Blaze's new shirts, and all of the Gathering shirts. So those could be hot sellers on eBay in the coming days. We have pics of maybe a dozen new shirts, and those will get posted as soon as we can. Also on that tip, the Auctions went fairly well. We'll be posting that section up as soon as we can also, although we may not have pictures to go with it for a few days.

Whoa, and speaking of new merch, how about the White Lotus jerseys that were worn onstage Friday night... or the White/Black, Red/Black, and White/Carolina Blue Soopa Villians jerseys that ICP were wearing throughout the weekend. Hotness, indeed.

I do have to say... that one of the absolute highlights of the weekend was the Twiztid seminar of Saturday. I heard Friday's was real sweet, but on Saturday, a question about ROC was asked. Before Madrox could answer, someone yelled out that ROC was a sellout bitch. Well, Jamie flipped out and told the kid to get the hell out of his seminar. The kid picked up, walked out... right to his car, and drove home to Minnesota on the spot. That was REAL funny. I know someone who got that on tape, so maybe some day we can get that up here for everyone to see. We may also have some other Audio and/or Video goodies from the weekend. Stay tuned for that.

But, like I said... I could sit here and go through each of my days, but I doubt anyone cares about that right now, especially since most of my days included riding the bus, eating McDonalds, and complaining about everything. Chris is still down in Ohio, so look for a report from him in the upcoming days, as well as randomly added merch here as it comes pouring in. Hopefully I get a good chunk done tonight, but I also almost fell asleep driving home, so perhaps a nap is in order.

Before I sign off, I must give thanks to everyone who brightened my weekend, esp. all of the guys and gals at the Rodeway Inn, Gordon the Netmaster and Nathan who were both very cool, everyone who came up to Detroit on Thursday for the Dime/Gordy/Hush show, and everyone else who I talked to and interacted with in some way. So, with that, and a big "Wow" for Brother Chris, I am out.

[Big Pete] 07.16.03

Well, it is Wednesday afternoon, and the storm is a'brewing that we call The Gathering. Chris is already in the air, on his way to C-Town to have lunch with the monkey, but I am still at home for the time being. This will probably be my last update until Monday night, although I MAY get to sneak one in on Thursday afternoon. We shall see.

Speaking of nothing, the Faces of Death Tour with Body Count, Esham, and ABK is rolling through the nation, and one of our loyal Board dwellers schitzothakilla@hotmail.com hooked it up withthe new merch info. New stuff to keep your eye out for include: Esham Tour shirt, ABK Tour Shirt, a new Esham shirt, a sleeveless ABK shirt (black w/ skull logo), as well as a white ABK basketball jersey and a red Hatchet Warrior shirt, both with the cartoon logo on the front. They also had a white Esham... umm, I have NO idea what you call them, but they are like the tight, silky bandana deals that people wear. Whatever you call them... there is an Esham one.

Pics of some of those may come shortly, so if you are reading this and their are no links to views the pictures, come back in a few. Otherwise, not much is going down. I need to get packing for the extra long road trip. If you see either me or Chris this weekend, give us a holler. Smell you all later!

[Big Pete] 07.14.03

Things are starting to pick up, as this is the week of the Gathering 2003. The Web Store has up Behind the Paint, both versions of Wizard of the Hood, and the Wizard shirt for those who will not be venturing to C-Town this week.

Speaking of Behind the Paint, you all know that comes out soon at your local FYE. However, be sure to check your local store, for some are selling it as we speak. I know I picked my copy up today, and 200 pages in, I can tell you it is well worth the 25 bucks. Great stories and pictures, and the discography at the end is beautiful. Props to Rob, Nathan, and Gordon the Netmaster for hooking that up, and a personal thank for the props.

That is it, really. We have some little updates here to take care of, but other than those points, not much going on as of yet. The calm before the storm, as we like to say. So until the next update, I am out.

[Suplex] 07.11.03

Small news update on your dead homie and mine, Big Blaze... I've gotten word that his Colton Grundy CD might still be coming out! Now Who knows if this is a mistake in a computer or what, but my good friend Michelle has dropped the following news on me:

My girlfriend works in the mall and I sent her over to FYE to see if they would have behind the paint tomorrow. Anyway, they didn't have it but on his list of upcoming releases there was one for Blaze Ya Dead Homie 9/23.

so there ya go, you can take that for what it's worth. Again, this may be a computer error, who knows. Also unknown, if this is a real release, whether or not the release was a PSY release or a Majik release... More news on this subject as it develops.

[Suplex] 07.09.03

Rumor has it, when Blaze dropped the Blaze gimmick and became "Big C" he was copying Pete, who dropped the TaDow gimmick and made himself "Big Pete" ... Or maybe it was the other way around. Regardless, I have Zug news for you all, courtesy of Miss Crystal @ the only Zug Site that matters, ZugSyn.com. First off, there is a new BMX jersey for the boys of Zug, and it is as such:

Not bad. There is also a new shirt out. It is this shirt:

But it is now made in red, and the words on the back are black with a red outline. Sounds pretty pimp. Crystal also mentioned that The Syn-ster was wearing a Psychopathic Doctor Scrub shirt deal... Like Esham's... Only it's for Psychopathic.. no word on if that will be for sale ever, or if it's a prototype deal. That is all I have for now.. And for christ's sake, go to ZugSyn.com right now. Peace.

[Big Pete] 07.07.03

Ah yes, another early morning update. Nothing like it. Anyways, to start off, you probably have noticed the nice push of stuff from the Web Store at the end of last week. Those old Twiztid jerseys sold pretty quick, and there are only 4 left as I type this, so if you wanted that, so check it out.

Anyways, this update was something I eluded to a while back. We usually don't come here and point out all of the little things we add to each page, as we do it so often. But, we added some old school flavor for those who are into that. First, thanks to John for pointing this one out. He was flipping through some of his old newspaper articles and came across a picture of ICP in their warehouse, with what very well may be the "Gangasta Pose" poster hanging right behind them. Go check out the ICP Poster section for that.

Next, we got a few nice pictures/stories from Phil, who supplied us with info about the Prom Night Massacre poster, the infamous Dog Beats poster, and an old ICP b/w flat that I have never seen before. So props to these guys, andtoeveryone who helps PT run on the daily. Even if we don't post what you give us within a day, or week, or even month, we always keep it and use it eventually.

I believe that is it for now. Unlike the other day when I said we were going to, we are actually starting to change our email addys on PT here (and should be done by the end of today) because the old ones didn't work. So if you are gonna hit us up, use our AOL Addys. Not the most professional deal, but it works. I also changed up my gimmick name, as you may have noticed at the top of this post. I figured a lot of things. Like how the most well-known webmasters really go by their names, not a gimmick... how I hate when people call me an AOL name in real life... how Kevin Nash and Scott Hall didn't get big until they went from gimmick to their real names. So yeah, until next time, I am out.

[TaDow] 07.02.03

It's been all Twiztid, all the time here in the D. Last night was their instore at Hot Hits. Pretty crowded, more than the night before I think. But, credit to Twiztid and everyone in the crew who stayed a good 3 hours past what they were scheduled. So good stuff there.

Yeah, I was real busy with the camera last night. Anyways, those are the three shirts they were selling, as well as some vinyl stickers and a hat if you can see it up top.

That's it for right now. I have fully come to my "We aren't getting all the emails we should be getting" phase, so throughout the day, I will be making/changing our email addys in an attempt to not be such gomers, like we have been. So look out for that, and until then... perhaps I will talk to you later.

[TaDow] 07.01.03

Ah yes, yet another update. Well, this one is of good news, so rejoice PTers. Tonight was the Twiztid Instore at Rock of Ages. A good number of people... hot sun... hanging out with my boys and such, all good deal.

Basically, simply put, I work for a local artist's record label, and we were representing him to the kids in line, and it turns out that Twiztid really digs his shit, so they were talkin to me about that for a short minute. I talked to Tom Dub about it, and the tour they want to put together in the fall is ridiculous. They have their tour soon with Marz. But that Oct. 31st show looks to be the first date on a 2 month tour, where they are trying to get Necro, Tech N9ne, and our local cat, King Gordy. Now, this is obviously all speculation, and who knows what will happen, because shit always happens... and Tommy D, I hope I can spill those beans, don't get mad at me! But good gravy, that would be a nice tour. I know I'm gonna work my end to get it poppin.

In that conversation, I brought PT up to Dub, and he was extra cool about the situation. He explained how artists are protective about their work and how they wanted it to be a surprise. I explained I thought it helped their sales. All in all, it was very cool, and he said we'd still get our questions submitted. So thanks to Tommy, Twiztid, and to everyone who emailed us and came up and talked to me tonight about the situation. All is well with the situation.

They were selling what I thought were three new shirts, and they gave away a poster with any purchase. I will try and get pictures tomorrow of everything, so we shall see if that works. They also have the b/w flats, and the 12 x 12's to take or get autographed. Once again, thanks to everyone, and I am done for the night.
